9th October - Jo Carritt in Kona
In her fourth Ironman event of the year following Lanzarote, France and UK, Jo Carritt conquered the lave fields of Kona once again on Saturday to finish her first Ironman World Championships in the professional ranks. Read about her race HERE.
A great effort from Jo to even qualify in her first year racing as a PRO. Congratulations, and a lot more to come we're sure in 2011.

5th September - World Championship silver for Lois Rosindale
Having won a bronze medal earlier in the year at the ETU European Under-23 Duathlon Championships, Lois Rosindale came oh so close to adding a World Championship gold in Edinburgh. Leading two-time World Junior Duathlon Champion Sophie Coleman by a clear margin at T2, and with just the final 5km run to go, Lois looked all set to gain the title on home soil. Unfortunately, a lost water bottle on the bike leg resulted in lack of hydration, for which Lois paid the price, losing the lead in the very late stages of the run, in what was the toughest world championship course ever.
Lois battled on bravely after being passed by Coleman, crossing the line almost out on her feet. A brave effort. Congratulations Lois on a brave performance, and another championship medal winning performance.

1st August - Joanna Carritt third at Ironman UK!
Team TBC's Ironman demon Joanna Carritt secured her first professional Ironman podium finish on Sunday, taking third place behind Yvette Grice and three-time defending champion Bella Bayliss. A regular podium finisher in a distinguished age group career, this type of performance and result is further evidence - if it was needed - of the value and importance that the development structure of Team TBC SportsAid can provide. Fantastic result for the dedicated Jo, who has now qualified to race Kona 2010 as a Pro!

11th July - Japanese Jenkins adventures!
In need of "race practice", team captain Marc Jenkins headed to Japan to compete in two ITU events. With a third (more HERE) at the Sendai Bay ITU Triathlon Asian Cup and a second (more HERE) at the Gamagori ITU Triathlon Asian Cup, it proves a very worthwhile trip.
4th July - Another win for Lois
After winning the BUCS (British Universities) Triathlon Champs, this week Lois Rosindale added the Jane Tomlinson's Leeds 10km to her list of wins

27th June - British Universities Champion
Lois Rosindale added the BUCS (British Universities) Triathlon Champs to her CV this past weekend, taking the title - held over the Standard distance - at Dearne Valley in Yorkshire.
20th June - UK Ironman 70.3, Wimbleball
In his first race as a professional athlete, Tristan Shipsides recorded an encouraging 10th place at the tough UK Ironman 70.3 event in Wimbleball. A first year pro athlete, this is just the sort of result Tristan needed to provide confidence for the season ahead, as he seeks to make that giant leap from age group to professional racing.
Joanna Carritt, another first year pro - and prolific race! - took the fifth pro spot. With Ironman her speciality, and encouraging result over this short (!) distance.
13th June - Team TBC SportsAid dominates Windsor Triathlon
A truly spectacular day for the team at the 20th running of the iconic Windsor Triathlon, on of the great events on the UK calendar. Securing the biggest result of his career to date, Steven Worthington took home the Windsor title, and that was added to my team captain Marc Jenkins finishing shortly afterwards to make it a one-two for the team. What a great result...and it got better! With almost no Olympic distance draft-legal racing experience, Lois Rosindale also took second place behind regular ITU WCS competitor Vanessa Raw, to ensure that Team TBC Sports Aid secured half of the Windsor podium positions.
